Back in 1995, Jimmy, Joe and Ginene founded OAC to "respond to the challenge of
collecting the opinions that determine the products and services brought to the
marketplace. At OAC, we experience the exciting birth and growth of new
companies. We are 'right there' as they formulate the principles that determine
their success."
And what determines the success of OAC? The people, of
course.
That's why we've created this page on our web site, so that our
clients - most of whom are our friends, too - can see who we are. The tone of
the following "bios" are irreverent yet, we hope, enlightening - and a full
acknowledgement that all work and no play makes Jack (or Jill) a dull boy... or
girl (yeah, we know, being politically correct sometimes strains even our most
cherished old saws...) |
Jimmy Hoffman
President
Brother owns comedy club |

Ginene Hoffman
Executive VP
Still can't believe her name is spelled this way |

Alma Riviera-Engel
Director of Operations
Alma moved to NYC from Guatemala at the age of two. Her parents were very upset that she left home at such a tender young age, but like Alma always says, "a gal's gotta do what a gal's gotta do."Years later, it would mean a bold move to Cincinnati. "Sure it was tough," recalls Alma. "The semi-clean air, polite cab drivers, the processed cheese and mayonnaise on white bread. God what I wouldn't have given for a soft pretzel. But I knew that if I could survive the challenges of Ohio, then OAC's day-to-day operations would be a piece of cake." |

Desiree Quesada
Hispanic Markets Manager
Originally from Costa Rica, Dez is the Hispanic Markets Manager. Her Dad and brother are architects and her Mom is a shrink. And Dez is politically connected - her Mom's half-sister is the first woman vice president of Costa Rica! Dez lives in rural New Jersey with her stockbroker husband. Not one to slave over a hot stove, Dez's local Burger King and MacDonald's franchises count
on her patronage... |

John Cerve
Senior Tab Specwriter
A graduate of the School of Medium Knocks (N.Y.C. branch), John has worked at OAC since the late 1930s. Now a senior spec writer (tabulations), in his off hours he plays around with quantum physics theory, subjecting his pet squirrels Thumper and Leadfoot to unspeakable experiments. His daughter Julie (nickname: Collette) operates a violin for the Navy. He really wants to go on a crime spree, but just can't seem to find the time. On a visit to Toronto, John experienced a vision of himself falling through the glass floor of the CN Tower. He survived. |

Lance Hoffman
Vice President of Sales
Lance joined OAC in December 2000 as an account executive after being recruited from an IT consultancy firm. Lance has a marketing degree from Hofstra, but we wanted to know what he does for fun, and from what we gather, he is "philosophical" about his "skydiving." Hey, as long as the ripcord still works...

Stuart Lederer
Senior Scriptwriter
A CATI scriptwriter since the mid-90s (starting out as a coder), Stuart has driven a Testarossa at three times the speed limit (you go, Stu!). He won't tell us where he did that - but we do know he used to live in L.A. Still has a hankering to live in a glass beach house. |
 |
Tim Dahoda
Project Coordinator
Tim Dahoda was at the crossroads of his life. Should he continue to bring joy as an Elvis impersonator, or sell out and reach for the brass ring? Fortunately for OAC, Tim's shrink arranged for an interview at OAC as part of the terms of Tim's plea bargain. Tim claims he's happy to be doing life at OAC. He says the people are great, the pay's good and every now and then, he pushes the envelope. "A few weeks ago I contradicted my boss," recalls Tim. "But I'm still here. That's because this is one company that values employee input, even mine." |

Yolanda Milford
Staffing Manager
Yolanda, OAC's Staffing Manager is a direct and to-the-point, get-it-done lady. Her nickname Yo Yo has confused us, since all her answers are No No. But, she's a Gemini, so maybe that explains it.
If you are a pet lover, don't bring up the subject of animals to Yolanda. Yo Yo says No No to pets - they belong outside. |
