President and Founding Partner
As President of Opinion Access, Jim brings keen business acumen for operations and strategy from years of being a CPA and founding partner of one of the largest accounting firms on Long Island.. Jim is primarily in charge of the day-to-day business activities of the company and managing the company’s financial affairs. He oversees the domestic and nearshore call center operations as well as manages senior leadership for operations, project management, and quality control. His overall responsibility is to ensure that each department adheres to furthering the company’s philosophy of “a job well done” on a daily basis. Jim holds a degree in Accounting from C.W. Post College.
Chairman and Founding Partner
From an early point in his career, Joe has been involved in market research. In 1982, he was responsible for the design and programming of a CATI system that is still used by some of the top Honomichl 50 and Fortune 500 companies. More than 35 years later, Joe now oversees all technical operations of the company, including security, hosting, and redundancy. He also works to continually improve the programming of our CATI software to ensure that it stays on the cutting edge of technology within the Industry. Joe serves as primary contact to some of our largest clients to help guide them towards the appropriate data collection solution(s) that will help them to achieve their research goals. Joe holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brooklyn College and a Masters in Statistics from Baruch.
EVP, Sales and Marketing
Lance manages the largest account base for Opinion Access , assisting clients with all of their quantitative data collection needs. He also heads up internal and external Sales and helps to direct and implement Marketing. Prior to joining OA full-time as an Account Executive in 2001, Lance was an interviewer and supervisor for the phone room during college. He attended Hofstra University and studied Marketing after receiving an Associate Degree in Accounting. Lance has served as President of the Greater NY IA (formerly MRA), received local and national recognition for his work in marketing research, and is a certified at the Expert level of Professional Research Certification by the National Insights Association. He currently guides the New York Chapter of the Insights Association as one of four members of the Past Presidents Advisory Council (PPAC).
Director of Project Management
and Quality Control
Terene started with Opinion Access in 2006 as a project manager after working for six years as a field manager for a full-service research company. Since joining Opinion Access, she has steadily moved up the ranks and is currently the working Director of the Project Management and Quality Control departments. Under her direction, both project management and quality control staff work closely with the Operation and Programming departments to guarantee that all client needs are met while adhering to client study designs and the highest quality standards. In addition to managing the teams, Terene directly manages some of our most difficult and challenging projects. Terene attended C.W. Post where she studied Psychology and Sociology.
Head of Scriptwriting
Amy has been in the market research industry for over 30 years. Starting as an interviewer in 1989 she quickly moved up the ranks to call center supervisor until she eventually found her calling 1992 as a CATI programmer. Amy came to OA in 2005 as a Senior programmer. As the Head of Scriptwriting, Amy is in charge of scheduling and overseeing all programming work for the company for both Online and CATI studies. She is responsible for all training and education of programmers regarding our software. In addition to her managerial responsibilities Amy also programs the most complicated and challenging studies for our clients. She and her staff work closely with the Project and Operations Departments in helping to insure the success of every project. Amy recently got married and currently resides in Ohio with her husband.
Director of Operations, US
Jon came to Opinion Access in 2008 as the Director of Operations for our Domestic Call center, and currently serves in that capacity as well as General Manager of our Orlando, Florida location. He helped open the center from a move in 2018, and overseas all hiring, training and supervision within the location as well as the day-to operations for all Ad-Hoc and Tracking work. Additionally, Jon works closely with our nearshore DOO on scheduling and other call-center related issues. Since 1997 Jon has been in the call center industry, managing teleservices staff in the hundreds in various Inbound and Outbound call centers, including opening offshore call centers in the Philippines. Jon lives in Florida with his wife Becky and his five children, and is a fierce competitor in all things sports during his free time, when he has any.
Director of Operations, Dominican Republic
Alma has been with Opinion Access since 2001. She started as the Director of Operations in our New York call center, and then, because of her Hispanic lineage and her background of teaching the language, helped us to spearhead the opening of our nearshore call center in the Dominican Republic – where she has been ever since. As General Manager of that location, she is responsible for day-to-day operations, as well as overseeing training, and hiring. She works closely with the US-based project staff to ensure that all methodology and required protocols are executed as expected. Prior to joining Opinion Access, Alma had an extensive background in sales, marketing, account management, and managing a large-scale call center. Alma holds a degree in International Relations with a minor in Economics from City College of New York and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian.
